Your college's family office

Start here when you are not sure who to ask. Each office runs its college's family events and communications.

  • Claremont McKenna: Alumni & Parent Engagement, 400 Claremont Blvd. (909) 621-8097.
  • Harvey Mudd: Office of Alumni and Family Engagement, 301 Platt Blvd. parents@hmc.edu.

  • Pitzer: Office of Family Engagement, Broad Center, 1st Floor. (909) 607-4030, engagement@pitzer.edu.

Housing, billing and mail

Room questions go to your student's own college; Pitzer Residence Life, for example, lists the main campus line, (909) 621-8000, and housing@pitzer.edu. At Harvey Mudd, billing questions go to the Office of Student Accounts at (909) 621-8107. For packages, Pomona's mailroom is (909) 607-8486 and mailroom@pomona.edu.

Calendars and records

Each college keeps its own registrar and calendar. We link all five on our dates page, and they are the final word on breaks and exam days.

A note on privacy

Student Health Services shares medical information with a parent only with the student's signed written consent, and the Scripps information page for families explains FERPA, the federal law that keeps a student's information private from anyone but the student. Have that conversation early, so your student can sign any releases before you need them.
